Carnival was a date important for all Word in different cities the people celebrated this date, but when and how it started? I know that the Carnival in Ecuador means “TAITA CARNAVAL” and started a lot of years ago, specifically in the culture Indians because the called a lot of nature thing (son, moon, rain, day and night, etc) Gods. The Indians thought that the rain was a God and they worshiped and prayed for the agriculture or for them lives. Also I know that in Latacunga, Ambato, Pillaro, in the Andes region the Indians pray for this God and it`s causality because when the Carnival arrived started to rain.

The carnival started in Tulcan-Pasto with a famous parade the “blancos y negros” a lot of people dressed for different characters and started the parade but they painted them faces with white and black colors. Different delegations from Ecuador and Colombia paraded and enjoyed this carnival in January it is the first celebration.

Other important carnival was in Brazil when different samba school made amazing floats and they competed in a championship of samba. Each sambas school showed the most incredible dresses and choreographies and the important was the garotas with small dresses,  they dancing for a long way for 2 days.

In Oruro-Bolivia the carnival is considerer cultural heritage of humanity, because it´s about a biggest parade this during 3 days with different characters of Bolivia. The Bolivians were prepared each year with the best dressed but Bolivia is multicultural for this reason exist various groups called fraternities the should to show each different character in Bolivia, the most important kind of traditional dance is “Diablada” approximately 200 people arrived to dancing, other typical rhythm is “ caporal” it´s famous in south-America around 15 fraternities arrived to showed this rhythm, and exist a lot of fraternities and different kind of dance ( tobas, tinku, morenada, saya, etc) a lot of and for this reason is considered multicultural.

Is not necessary to go to others countries here in Ecuador we can enjoy an learn about our culture for example the parade in Ambato called “ flores y frutas “ Ambato showed us the riches in fruits, flowers, food; a lot of delegations from Ecuador and others countries danced for 4 hours in the principals streets in Ambato.

Other important parade was in Guaranda this years was a big parade with a lot of people to arrived to know the culture because many dance groups arrived to dance for 2 hours .

In Macas too prepared a big parade similar to Ambato and Guaranda but they made a championship of dance and the winners won 1500 dollars. But the most important was to know the culture the different kinds of music, our food, and enjoyed with the family and friends.
